Spreading out of the monument are rice fields defining that Baybay is primarily an agricultural city. Baybay is like the “mother” who provides for her children aiding them for their development and success.
Flying above the monument is a dove that symbolizes peace and harmony among the community. It is also a symbol of hope for the fulfillment of their dreams and aspirations in life.
The coconut and the abaca on the left represent the major trades of the city. Since Baybay is a coastal city, many people make a living through fishing. Local fisherfolks are represented by the lone fisherman sailing towards the dove and the monument, hoping for fulfillment and success.
Another bulwark of the city is Mount Pangasugan at the background that represents stability and the abundance of Baybay’s natural resources. Flowing in the mountain are waterfalls representing the source of life of the people.
And lastly, the dots that surround the logo represents the 92 barangays of Baybay City.
